What Is Care House?

Care House provides intervention, advocacy and treatment services for child victims of sexual and physical abuse in Macomb County. Our goals are to minimize trauma for child victims and assist them with the healing process. Since our opening in 1996, we have coordinated over 10,300 forensic interviews and provided support to over 12,000 families. Families are never charged for any of the services they receive. Care House also provides child abuse prevention information in the community.

We accept referrals from law enforcement and CPS, but we also provide information and resources to the public. We depend on our community to provide a voice for children and a safe place to be heard.
