Dear Residents,
This past year, Townhall was abuzz with initiatives geared toward improving the quality of life for every resident. 2025 saw the launch of this very publication [R.E.A.C.H. Macomb, available here on CRG], transforming the REACH catalog into a full-fledged magazine, allowing us to “reach” every household with news about your community.
Our commitment to top-notch parks was on display with a variety of improvements. The 20+ year old playground at Waldenburg Park was replaced with a new accessible playground to provide the Township’s next generation with a safe space to play together. The bathrooms at Macomb Corners were renovated and new batting tunnels were installed next to the baseball fields. New shade structures and a pergola were completed at Pitchford Park. And, if you’re a regular at the Rec Center, a new water slide is ready for your family to enjoy.
We also bolstered our public safety ranks with two new deputies to our Sheriff’s contingent along with the addition of Deputy K9 Koda, improving our ability to patrol and respond to calls. Additionally, 7 full-time positions were added to the Fire Department, increasing the number of first responders ready to answer your call.
The year ahead promises to be just as busy, with a number of road and infrastructure projects taking shape. We look forward to what our future has in store for us all here in Macomb Township.
