Autastic Athletics premier tennis program, FOR autistic athletes, BY autistic athletes! Learn basic tennis skills and play ability which generalize to real life skills in the gym, on the court, in life! Coach Andrew, has been playing competitive tennis since the age of 14, more than half his life, and has been working professionally within the autism community for about the same amount of time!

Adaptive Kitchen Safety:

Community Center

This class is for young adults 16 and over with special needs. Kitchen safety for special needs students will be tailored to accommodate their unique abilities, challenges, and learning styles. Some components that will be included are Kitchen Hazards, Personal Hygiene, Safe Food Handling, Fire Safety, Electric Safety, Burn Prevention, Slip & Fall Precautions, Utensil Safety, Emergency Procedures and Hands-on Activities.

This class is for young adults 16 and over with special needs. Our class will focus on equipping the participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the workforce and succeed in the job market. Some essential components we will be targeting will be;

Self-Assessment and Career Exploration, Job Skill Search, Interview Preparation, Workplace Etiquette and Behavior, Understanding Job Responsibilities, Social Skills in the Workplace, Problem Solving, Time Management, and Financial Literacy.

Drop Everything & Dance Studio

Mommy and Me is a joyful and engaging experience designed for young children, ages 1-2.5, and their care givers to explore the world of movement and playful activities.

Such as rhythmic games, simple choreography, and creative movement exercises, all set to music. Caregivers participate alongside their little ones in this 30-minute class that runs for 6-week sessions. *No class 3/25, 3/25

Monthly Yoga:

First timers and experienced yogis welcome! In this 50-minute gentle yoga class you will learn foundational breathing exercises, poses and sequencing. Over each session, you can build upon your foundation and expanding your knowledge with our group. Ages 16+.

Myofascial Release Classes:

Community Center

MFR uses small dense roller balls for treating skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles while we utilize our breath. Our class will include breath, warm up stretching, a short yoga flow and a cool down period while using the provided myofascial release balls.
