CARE of Southeastern Michigan is excited to announce the inaugural Michigan RecoveryCon and Film Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Macomb Community College – Center Campus. This all-day event will feature prominent leaders in substance use treatment and recovery, along with panels aimed at reducing stigma and fostering community.
MI RecoveryCon and Film Festival will host various recovery-focused groups, including 12-step support, multiple pathways to recovery, and mental and physical well-being workshops. Allies and family members affected by a loved one’s substance use will also share their insights through panels, workshops, support groups, and discussions. The day is designed to welcome everyone who may be impacted by substance use. The Film Festival portion of the event will showcase independent films centered on themes of substance use and recovery, along with captivating art displays created by talented members of the recovery community.
