CARE offers a range of parent education services that provide the tools and parental support that all parents need — whether you are a first-time mother of an infant or a father meeting new challenges that come with adolescence, CARE provides parent services that address the different challenges and questions that arise when raising children.

CARE’s Parent Services are a valuable resource for parents and caregivers of a child at any stage of development. We provide classes, workshops, and everyday tips to raise healthy, happy kids. Our services include:

Parenting classes provide parental support for parents and caregivers, offering sessions geared toward a specific age range: Parents with Young Children (birth to 5 years), Parenting School Age Children, and Parenting Teenagers.

An array of topics are covered in CARE’s parenting programs which include communication, discipline, responsibility, and age appropriate behavior.

Be the best parent you can be

Seeking out parenting help is not a weakness but a strength. Parenting is often called the toughest job in the world, and our parenting programs will help you manage some of these challenges — like shifting family structures, social pressures at earlier ages, and the lure of social media. We at CARE recognize that no one becomes a parent with all the information and answers at the ready. We are here to help you get the tools you need to raise healthy and strong children.

Parents who are positive and effective caregivers are more likely to raise sons and daughters with healthy self-esteem. This is an asset that will serve your children well as they become young adults. Kids raised with a healthy sense of self-esteem are more likely to be happy, to make and keep positive friends, and to persevere in working through difficult situations.

In addition to parenting assistance, CARE also plans and hosts an annual parenting conference that features a keynote presentation, workshops, and opportunities for all parents and caregivers to increase their skills and become effective parents.
