Senior Led Aerobics:

Community Center

Enjoy your favorite aerobic moves and music during this low-impact workout. Introduce hand weights and floor exercises, as tolerated. Hosted by dedicated Senior Center member volunteers, Judy Wegner, Joann Lesniewski, & Ted Rabaja.

• No equipment is needed.

Bring your own hand weights and fitness bands to intensify your workout. Registration required prior to attendance. No class 1/13,

Chair Cardio Drumming:

Get ready for lots of fun, laughs & good music all while instructor Amanda Hodge guides you through Cardio Drumming. Seated or standing you will get your heart rate up, burn calories and work on strength & coordination.

Bring your own Ball, Bucket & Drum sticks.

Class can accommodate all abilities. Contact your instructor on what to purchase. Advance registration required one-week prior to class start. *No class 1/3, 2/14, 3/28, 4/18.

Chair Yoga is a great way for older adults to safely work on balance, stretching, coordination & focusing on the power of your breath. Whether you are just starting your yoga journey, want to meet new people, coming back from an injury or just don’t want to get down on the floor, this is the class for you. Just-A-Dancing with Darlene:

Join us for these line-dancing lessons taught by experienced instructor, Darlene Sedrowski, who is ready to lead you through step-by-step! Registration and payment is required prior to attendance, no drop-in fees accepted on site. *No class 2/26, 4/23.

Join us for a chance to have fun with friends or meet fellow crafters. Bring a bottle of wine or a beverage of choice, and follow along with the instructor to create a work of art to take home at the end of the event. All supplies are provided and no experience is needed. Make sign selection when registering. In the event of inclement weather, class will be held at the Chesterfield Community Center.

Crafty Creations:

Join us for a creative hour of simple, crafty fun and friendship. Craft supplies will be provided by the instructor; however, some crafts may require you to bring a glue gun. A surprise craft will be selected prior to the start date of each class, available to see in the office.

Introduction to Computer Basics

No previous experience is necessary for this class to learn basic beginning computer skills. Participants will use an online tutorial to learn how to use a computer mouse, learn computer term definitions and computer hardware and peripheral identification. A computer will be provided.

Attend a hands-on class to learn how to safely search the internet and use email. Use computers provided by the library. Ability to use a computer mouse is a requirement for the class. A computer will be provided.

Tech Help

Have a phone or device that you can’t figure out how to use? Bring it in, and we’ll help! Learn how to download audiobooks on your phone, eBooks on your tablet, use Microsoft Office and Word, Internet basics, computer basics, social media, e-mail, and more! What are your questions? Bring them to us, and we will help answer your basic technology questions.

Macomb County Senior Lunch Program:

Community Center

Dining Senior Style is a daily lunch program that provides an opportunity to have a well-balanced meal while Community Center and on our website. Check in begins at 11AM, serving beings at 11:30AM.

You must be age 60 or older to participate. Lunch is served on a “first come, first served” basis, Monday through Friday. A $3.00 contribution is suggested for each meal.

All donations go directly back into the program to help serve more seniors.
